Knight Frank Singapore has appointed Alan Tan to head of KF Property Network, where he will oversee a team of more than 600 real estate professionals. Tan brings more than two decades of industry experience to the role, having worked with developers, as well as leading the real estate agency business at HSR International Realtors.

RealFoundations has named Deepak Misra to lead its Chennai operations centre as general manager. Misra, who has worked with leading multinational corporations across real estate, healthcare and other sectors, will bolster the firm’s offshore delivery capabilities for real estate managed services.

Gaw Capital chairman and managing principal Goodwin Gaw has been elected to ULI’s Asia Pacific executive committee and global board in a raft of new appointments from the Asia Pacific region. Gaw also becomes a global governing trustee, alongside Mitsubishi Estate’s executive vice president Tetsuji Arimori and Megan Walters, head of research Asia Pacific at JLL. The ULI’s other global governing trustee appointments include BAML’s global head of real estate equity sales Sarah Cooper; Kailong Investment Management chairman Hei Ming Cheng; Australia’s Ian Mackie; Angelo Gordon’s Jon Tanaka, Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Lin Wang; and Mitsui Fudosan’s Takashi Yamamoto.

Savills India has appointed Harikrishnan P V and Apurva Shah as director BFSI – capital markets and senior director, capital markets, respectively. Savills Vietnam also launched its new Korean desk and appointed Hyojin Kim to run the desk.

Kate MacDonald has joined CBRE Hotels in Australia as associate director and will be based in Sydney. MacDonald previously worked in Knight Frank’s hotel team and prior to that established and grew a dedicated hospitality division at PKF.
