M&G Investments has appointed Chris Andrews as head of business development, Australia, and James MacKinnon as head of Australia, real estate. The new hires are part of the firm’s expansion into Australia, opening offices in Sydney and Melbourne. Andrews will be based in Melbourne and was most recently based in Singapore as head of client relationships and marketing at M&G Real Estate. MacKinnon, who joined M&G Real Estate in Singapore in 2012 as head of asset management (Asia Pacific), will head the Sydney office.

Janus Henderson Investors has promoted Mark Fensom to retail sales director for Victoria and Tasmania. The Melbourne-based director most recently served as client account manager, and previously led a trade support desk at MarkitSERV based in London.

Savills Singapore has recruited Stella Grant to its hotel team, where she will be responsible for hotel investment transactions across the Asia Pacific region. Grant first joined Savills in London in 2015.

Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its national valuations capability in Western Australia, with the appointments of Sean Ray, Arthur Wojcieski and Andrew Steed to its tier 1 valuations team in Perth.

CBRE has named Vamshi KK Nakirekanti as head of valuation and advisory services, South East Asia and has been tasked with leading and expanding the valuations business in India. In New Zealand, the firm recruited Carl Graham as director of valuation and advisory services to lead the Christchurch-based general commercial and industrial valuation team. CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions business has hired Michael Barlow as its new regional director for facilities management and government in Australia and New Zealand.
